Vance Will Not Watch Fort Hood Shooter Executio
Vice President JD Vance has stated he will not watch the livestreamed firing squad execution of Fort Hood shooter Nidal Malik Hasan, whose death is scheduled for December. The Pentagon announced plans to carry out Hasan's execution by firing squad, with some officials suggesting it will be made public, though Vance expressed uncertainty about whether the livestream will occur. Hasan, convicted of killing 13 soldiers in 2009, is set to be executed for what officials describe as the worst terrorist attack on U.S. soil outside of 9/11.
