Fitton criticizes FBI's slow Trump files release
Judicial Watch criticized the FBI for slow releasing documents related to Thomas Crooks, who attempted to assassinate then-presidential candidate Donald Trump at a rally before being shot and killed by Secret Service agents. A FOIA lawsuit prompted the release of some files, revealing Crooks sent cryptic texts and engaged in a heated argument before the attack. The FBI estimates it will take over 12 years to review all relevant documents, raising concerns about transparency and potential cover-up motives.
