Trump’s taxpayer-funded ad campaign concludes Sunday
The Trump administration spent $19 million of taxpayer funds on a campaign promoting President Trump’s policies, mainly related to border security, which is set to end soon. The ads, created by the White House and aired on major networks, face legal challenges from watchdog groups and Democrats over possible violations of appropriations law. The White House states that no further spending is planned, and Trump has not indicated plans to reimburse the government.
