Zalatoris to miss 2027 PGA season
Will Zalatoris is expected to miss the entire 2027 PGA Tour season due to a scheduled spinal-fusion surgery later this month. The 30-year-old, who previously reached a high world ranking and finished runner-up in major tournaments, has undergone three back surgeries since 2023. His recent limited play and injuries have caused him to drop outside the top 600 in the world rankings, with plans to potentially return in 2028 on the PGA Tour's new Challenger Series.
