Jeffrey Donaldson' Challenges for Prison Staff
Jeffrey Donaldson, a former DUP leader and politician, was sentenced to 15 years in prison after being convicted of 18 child sex abuse counts, including rape, against two women. His placement in Maghaberry Prison poses significant security concerns due to the risks from other inmates and potential political or sectarian targeting. He is currently housed in the Moyola Unit for his safety and may be transferred to another facility as part of risk management.
