M5 motorway construction uncovers burial site
A Roman burial ground with unique non-normative burials has been discovered during archaeological work near Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, as part of the M5 junction 10 improvement scheme. The site includes skeletons from different periods and cultures, along with artifacts like brooches and bracelets, suggesting the area was inhabited by people of diverse religions 2,000 years ago. The findings are considered likely to be of national significance and will undergo further analysis by specialists.
