Three men handed 158 years for Australian brothers killing
A judge in Baja California sentenced three Mexican men to over 158 years in prison each for the 2024 murders of two Australian brothers and an American friend during a surf trip in Mexico. The killings occurred after the victims resisted a robbery, leading the suspects to shoot them and dump their bodies in a well. The case concluded with the conviction of Jesús Gerardo García, Irineo Francisco “N,” and Ángel Jesús “N,” amidst broader concerns about the impact on tourism in the region.
