North Korea Satellite Images of Kim's Summer Hideaway
A luxury vessel believed to be used by North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and his family has been repeatedly spotted off Wonsan, near his summer retreat. The ship features a 50-meter swimming pool and waterslides, and has been active since July, moving between Wonsan and nearby islands. Satellite images also reveal additional large vessels in the area, suggesting the regime's continued use of private, high-end yachts for recreation, despite North Korea's widespread poverty and restrictive travel conditions for ordinary citizens.
