Abdul El-Sayed Maintains Ties to Mother Linked to Terror
Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed has a family history linked to the Muslim Brotherhood and a terrorist-designated Egyptian birth mother who worked for the Islamic American Relief Agency. Despite these ties, he has minimized public references to his biological mother and emphasized his relationship with his stepmother, who appears more acceptable to voters. El-Sayed denies any connection to his family's alleged extremist past, while critics highlight his family's history and organizational links to the Muslim Brotherhood.
