Val Chmerkovskiy Suspended Over Oscars Slap
Val Chmerkovskiy has been suspended from "Dancing With the Stars" after making a social media post referencing Will Smith’s Oscars slap while defending his wife. The controversy erupted following judge Carrie Ann Inaba’s critique of his partner Jenna Johnson and actor Harry Shum Jr., leading Val to delete the post and issue a public apology. He will miss the upcoming "Dedication Night" episode, and Jenna Johnson will temporarily dance with pro Alan Bersten.
