Macklemore's tour funds pro-Palestine group
Macklemore is launching a "Free Palestine" tour with upcoming shows in Dublin, Paris, and London, using proceeds to support organizations linked to controversial statements regarding Hamas and the October 7 terror attacks. The tour follows his removal from Ed Sheeran's "Loop Tour" after repeatedly calling for "Free Palestine" and performing an anti-Israel song. Critics, including Jewish organizations and advocacy groups, have raised concerns about the benefitting organizations' links to Hamas and incitement, calling for greater vetting and safeguards to prevent funding of violence and antisemitism.
