DOJ official defends Trump voter probe
Harmeet Dhillon, Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights, defended the Trump administration’s investigation into noncitizen voters during an interview on "60 Minutes," emphasizing that thousands of cases are under review. She argued that election distrust already exists and that the DOJ is actively prosecuting cases, with more investigations ongoing, to uphold election integrity. Dhillon also stated there are no current plans to send ICE agents to polling locations, and she dismissed concerns about election challenges related to noncitizen voting.
