Oregon school officials silent on player flag incident
A high school football incident involved a player from Jefferson High School being ejected after a pre-game event where a Grant High School player carried an American flag onto the field. The Jefferson school and athletic director did not respond to inquiries, and the school's deleted social media posts claimed the event was misunderstood and linked to disrespect shown by Grant players and staff. The game resulted in Grant's victory, with Jefferson's record falling to 1-6.
