Supreme Court rules for GOP on student ID voting
The Supreme Court has allowed New Hampshire to fully enforce a ban on voters using student IDs as a form of identification at the polls. This decision supports the state's effort to tighten voting procedures before the upcoming election, with the court pausing a lower court's ruling that permitted student IDs. The law was challenged as discriminatory against young voters, but the court emphasized maintaining election rules without last-minute changes.
