Watkins eyes first basket

USC guard JuJu Watkins is returning after missing last season while rehabbing a torn ACL; she averaged 25.6 points per game in her first two seasons. She scored 18 points in an exhibition win over California and will join a talented USC roster, including Jazzy Davidson, as the No. 3 Trojans pursue their first national title since 1984. USC opens its season against UNLV in Las Vegas.
