USC dims Ohio State hopes

Ohio State lost 30-18 to USC on Oct. 31, raising concerns about its playoff chances after quarterback Julian Sayin’s elbow injury left the offense struggling behind Luke Fahey. The Buckeyes gained 484 yards but did not score a touchdown until late, and face Northwestern, Oregon, Nebraska and Michigan over the next five weeks. USC’s win kept its postseason hopes alive, with games against Indiana, Maryland and UCLA remaining.
