FBI UFO Claim Disputed
Former Pentagon AARO director Sean Kirkpatrick said a reported triangular object sighting by FBI personnel cannot be assessed without photographs or other supporting data, and officials confirmed images released with the report were illustrations. He said “unresolved” generally means there is insufficient information to analyze a case, not evidence of extraterrestrial activity; AARO’s reviewed data did not match an alien hypothesis. Kirkpatrick also said most cases his office examined involved ordinary objects or sensor effects, while a small number were referred for possible foreign-adversary involvement.
