Ex-Cop Arrested Over Post
Retired NYPD sergeant Rodolfo Mienert, 68, was arrested in Florida on Monday after allegedly posting a threat to behead Pinellas County Commissioner Brian Scott. Authorities said the Facebook comment followed Scott’s vote to approve a land-use change allowing a local mosque to expand. Mienert faces one felony count of making a written or electronic threat to kill.
