Touchscreen MacBook costs more

Apple unveiled its first touchscreen MacBook Pro on Oct. 28, with 14-inch and 16-inch models featuring a tandem OLED display, M5 Pro or M5 Max chips and a thinner, lighter design. Prices start at $2,899 for the 14-inch model and $3,399 for the 16-inch, and the laptops are expected to be available Nov. 6. The screen supports touch gestures but the laptop does not fold into a tablet or support Apple Pencil; Apple also offers a non-touch M6 MacBook Pro starting at $1,999.
