Europe Flights Diverted
Bomb threats diverted multiple flights across Europe on Thursday, including four aircraft rerouted to Prague and a Finnair flight escorted to Rome by Italian fighter jets. Prague authorities said the threats arrived in an anonymous email, and Czech police opened an investigation; no explosives were found in checks in the Czech Republic and Rome. The alerts followed similar threats on Tuesday, when at least seven flights and a cruise ship were searched without explosives being discovered.
