Daly's new role celebrated
Carson Daly will make his official debut as co-anchor of NBC’s “Saturday Today” with Laura Jarrett on Nov. 7, while continuing his weekday “Today” role and other work. Daly said he wanted the Saturday job to develop his broadcasting skills, and described the decision as a good fit after working with Jarrett for several weeks. He and Jarrett said the announcement gave the “Today” team a chance to celebrate together after a difficult year.
