The article addressed the issue of window tinting for cars in Bahrain, where tinting exceeding 30% on the rear and side windows is prohibited, and tinting on the front windshield is completely banned. Previously, laws required owners of tinted vehicles to replace their glass in order to sell or transfer ownership. Now, however, replacement is only required before the sale, leading to high costs and delays in the selling process—especially for those involved in importing cars. Experts affirm that tinting offers health and practical benefits, such as reducing eye strain and lowering the vehicle's temperature, without affecting visibility or distracting the driver. Therefore, they are calling for a reconsideration of the permissible tinting percentages.
