The Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates have signed a Memorandum of Understanding regarding the implementation of the "Single Point" project for pre-air travel registration, aimed at improving travel procedures and enhancing security and efficiency. The agreement seeks to establish an institutional framework for the exchange of pre-registration data in accordance with the highest standards of data protection and information security, with the goal of facilitating traveler movement and reducing processing times upon arrival. This collaboration is part of a Gulf initiative to support Gulf integration and develop border crossing systems. It reflects the depth of relations between the two countries and contributes to strengthening security and ensuring smooth movement through air ports. The "Single Point" project was launched in February 2026 at Bahrain and RAZAD airports, enabling travelers to complete entry procedures before departure, thereby enhancing the flow of flights.
