Gold heads for largest weekly rise
Gold prices remained steady today, Thursday, achieving a weekly gain of 4.8%. The rise was supported by falling oil prices and anticipation of U.S. employment data to strengthen interest rate expectations. The price of an ounce registered $4,235.57 in spot transactions, while remaining steady at $4,293.80 for U.S. futures contracts.
