Summer memories between Hayyan and Tineh
The article discusses summer memories in old Bahrain, focusing on natural swimming pools like the Hayan Pool and Al Taina Pool, which were part of people's lives before urban progress and development. It explains how these pools, which relied on water from wells and natural springs, served as unique places for family entertainment and social gatherings, vividly capturing the simple atmospheres, traditional foods, and spontaneous moments that created unforgettable memories. Despite infrastructural improvements and the development of modern entertainment venues, nostalgia for days of simplicity and intimacy remains present. These memories hold deep human value and emphasize that the soul of a place lies in feelings and relationships, not just in modernization and progress.
