First Emirati commercial earth satellite launched
The United Arab Emirates successfully launched the "Al-Tair-1" satellite, the first commercial Emirati Earth observation satellite powered by artificial intelligence, via the "Transporter-18" mission into a constellation orbit of 10 satellites. The satellite enables the collection of multi-source data with less than one meter accuracy, along with advanced processing capabilities through NVIDIA technology, contributing to faster and more precise decision-making in the fields of remote sensing and space analysis. This step marks the beginning of enhancing the UAE's capabilities in commercial satellites and developing a smart constellation to monitor the Earth's surface by 2027.
