Emirati probe: Flydubai co-pilot planned terror attack

Emirati investigations have revealed that the assistant captain of Fly Dubai planned to carry out a terrorist attack during a flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv. He attempted to attack the pilot with an emergency axe and injured him while he was flying the plane. The attacker, named Hmam Al-Hammami, an Omani national, was believed to have adopted extremist ideas and had previously been dismissed from his job at an Omani airline due to concerns over his adoption of radical ideological beliefs. During his training period, authorities found extremist materials in his possession. The investigations are still ongoing to uncover the motives and possible connections, with Emirati officials confirming that the suspect intended to carry out a terrorist attack during the flight.
