Islamic Affairs launches marriage certificate inquiry system

The Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs, and Endowments has developed an electronic service that allows users to inquire about the status of their marriage certificate issuance request. This enables parties involved to monitor the process via the website without the need for in-person attendance. The goal of this initiative is to facilitate procedures and reduce the time required, with the processing of requests now being automated and instantaneous, changing from a one-day turnaround to immediate results. Additionally, the user interface has been improved, and information has been unified across official channels. This development is part of the government’s efforts to support digital transformation and enhance the quality of services. Over 1,300 government services have been documented, and 800 of them have been updated through the "Tawasul" system to provide faster and more efficient services to beneficiaries.
