BlackBerry Passport Reintroduces Android 14

The article discusses the revival of the BlackBerry Passport phone after more than a decade since its original release. The P26 version now comes with Android 14, while preserving its distinctive design, including the 4.5-inch square screen with a resolution of 1440 × 1440 pixels, as well as a physical QWERTY keyboard capable of gesture inputs. The phone features modern internal components, including a MediaTek Helio G99 processor, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. It runs Android 14 with Google services. Priced at $420, shipping is expected to begin in late October 2026. This release is an attempt by Zinwa Technologies to offer an updated version of the iconic device, although it is built on used frameworks with upgraded internal components. The phone does not support 5G or NFC, with the physical keyboard remaining a key feature for fans of classic BlackBerry designs.
