Bahrain's Arab digital ranking at 5th

According to the 2026 Information and Communications Technology Development Index report, the Kingdom of Bahrain ranked fifth among Arab countries in digital technology readiness, with a score of 98 out of 100. This reflects the advanced development of the digital infrastructure and the widespread availability of internet and communication services in the country. Bahrain surpassed many other Arab states, closely trailing the leading nations—Saudi Arabia with 99.8 points, the United Arab Emirates with 98.8, Kuwait and Qatar with 98.4. This places Bahrain among the most progressive Arab countries in the digital transformation field. These results serve as evidence of the kingdom's technological advancement and digital security level, confirming its readiness to achieve further innovations in information technology services.
