Bahraini study questions AI’s role in future education

The article focused on the participation of three professors from the University of Bahrain in the SAMYRAD 2026 conference in Spain. They discussed the transformations driven by artificial intelligence in higher education, the future of learning and skills, and the job market. They presented two research papers; one highlighted the role of explainable AI in supporting responsible innovation, with an emphasis on transparency and ethical education, while the other addressed preserving human leadership within an educational system based on collaborative workshops, alongside developing social and emotional skills. The participation reflects the university’s growing international presence and its contribution to shaping the future of education through intelligent technologies, in line with its strategic plan objectives for 2026–2030.
