Israeli settlers burn West Bank mosque
Israeli settlers set fire to a mosque in the village of Makhmas in the West Bank, arson also targeted a car and an olive tree, accompanied by Hebrew slogans written on the mosque's outer walls. These acts are part of provocative actions and an escalation of violence against Palestinian holy sites. The fire caused damage to part of the mosque and its interior carpet, and threatening and provocative phrases were found written on its walls. Israeli forces are investigating the incident, with no suspects identified so far. This attack, which reflects a rise in Israeli violence against Palestinians, is a serious escalation that indicates the Israeli government’s complicity in protecting settlers and issuing threats to Palestinian areas.
