The article discusses the activation of the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs, and Endowments' electronic notarization system for marriage contracts. Since its launch in mid-July, the system has facilitated the signing of over 500 marriage contracts using smart tablets. Religious officiants are now able to fully conduct the marriage process electronically, starting from the marriage ceremony itself. This includes the attendance of the relevant parties and witnesses, as well as authenticating the contract through the Sharia court and making it accessible electronically to the involved parties. This initiative is part of the ministry's efforts to develop and improve judicial services by adopting digital solutions, aiming to streamline procedures and accelerate their completion. The ministry has also trained officiants on how to use the system and reduced reliance on paper transactions, thereby enhancing the efficiency and quality of the services provided.
