Britain: Jets for Saudi Defense Only
Britain announced that its fighter jets will protect Saudi Arabia from Houthi attacks, but will not carry out international military strikes against the Houthis. These statements come within the framework of an agreement to provide aerial and defensive support to Saudi Arabia without participating in offensive operations outside the scope of self-defense. This step is expected to help enhance Saudi Arabia’s security and ensure the deterrence of any future threats, with Britain reaffirming its commitment to legal and diplomatic boundaries in supporting the Saudi coalition.
