Trump's envoy Meets Zelensky and Putin
Sources have reported that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held "highly fruitful and constructive" talks with representatives from the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump in Oslo. During the discussions, the two sides explored ways to deal with Russia and made significant progress toward a unified diplomatic approach. It is also scheduled that U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff will meet today with Russian President Vladimir Putin, with virtual participation from Jared Kushner, in an effort to create a conducive atmosphere for direct talks between Kyiv and Moscow, as well as Washington, aimed at addressing disagreements and advancing peace efforts. These meetings come amid a U.S. and Ukrainian push to pave the way for broader negotiations with the goal of ending the Russian-Ukrainian war in a comprehensive and lasting manner.
