Hikma Is CIFF Publisher
The Cairo International Film Festival, chaired by Hussein Fahmy, has signed an agreement with the Bayt Al-Hikma for Culture Group, making it the official publisher of books for its 47th edition, scheduled to run from November 11 to 20, 2026. The group will publish six books on artistic careers, film studies and the festival’s history, including books about Asser Yassin, Medhat El-Adl, Saeed Shimi and director Matteo Garrone. The publications will coincide with the 50th anniversary of the festival’s founding. The partnership also includes Bayt Al-Hikma’s participation in the “From Book to Screen” forum, which aims to connect publishers with film and television creators and expand opportunities to adapt literary works.
