24-Hour Stray Dog Hotline

Abdullah Mubarak Al-Qubaisi, representative for the ninth constituency on the Northern Region Municipal Council, called for a 24-hour hotline to receive reports of stray dogs after groups of them were spotted in Block 1209 in Al Malikiyah. He warned of the danger they pose to residents and people using the walkway, particularly early in the morning, noting that a group of dogs had nearly attacked a woman. He said that when he contacted the company responsible, he found that only one employee was answering calls. He urged the company to respond to reports promptly and increase monitoring and field patrols to protect residents and visitors to public facilities.
