Singer Mohamed Hamaki talked about his song "Bahreyya," which features Sherine Abdel Wahab on the album "Sam'ouni." He emphasized that it contains Egyptian cultural elements and reflects the heritage of the Egyptian people. He mentioned that it is the kind of song that requires some time for listeners to fully appreciate. He explained that the song sparked controversy because it features unfamiliar language and addresses themes of marriage and Egyptian life through elements like tea on the balcony. Hamaki confirmed that there is a trend towards producing new songs that need repeated listening to be fully appreciated, and he expressed pride in collaborating with Sherine Abdel Wahab.
