The film "Shams El-Zanaty – The Beginning" features changes in the cast after a long hiatus of two and a half years due to production issues. Actress Yasmine Raees has officially joined to play the female lead, following previous refusals from other actresses. The film, based on a famous version of the legend by Adel Imam, is set 15 years before the events of the original story, to depict the beginning of the formation of the Zanaty gang. Director Ahmed Khaled Moussa is continuing preparations for filming, which is scheduled to start at the end of July, with the participation of other stars including Bassam Samer and Mohamed Tharwat.
