House of Words for Reading: A Lasting Companion
The Abu Dhabi Center for the Arabic Language launched the "Kalima Reading Club" initiative to promote sustainable reading habits and expand the presence of the Arabic language within society. The club aims to build a reading community that shares ideas, encourages dialogue, and supports continuous learning, by organizing book discussion sessions targeting diverse groups—especially during the summer vacation—to cultivate a passion for reading among both children and adults. The first summer session benefited over 75,000 participants, and the current session aims to reach 100,000, focusing on strengthening the role of the family and expanding cultural exchange through translated books.
