‘Nakhda Abu Dhabi’ Program Revives Maritime Heritage and Connects Youth with Ancestral Legacy

The "Nakhidha Abu Dhabi" program aims to promote Emirati maritime heritage and develop sports and physical skills among children and youth aged 7 to 13. The activities include sailing, rowing, and beach sports. The program is held in Abu Dhabi, Al Muroor, and Delma Island, and is supervised by a group of specialized authorities. Its goal is to prepare a new generation of Nakhidha sailors and preserve the government’s maritime legacy, with broad participation of 163 entrants in the previous season.
