UAE Mental Health City Promotes Awareness
The UAE Health Services Authority launched the "Mental Health Awareness Month" activities across the UAE in October 2026 under the slogan "Stronger Together… Awareness that Supports, and a Community that Embraces." The initiative aims to raise awareness about mental health, promote prevention and early detection, and support families and communities in creating a more inclusive environment. The activities include workshops, lectures, exhibitions, sports events, and interactive initiatives targeting different groups, covering topics such as anxiety management, emotional intelligence, depression in children, and the needs of the elderly. The programs also focus on strengthening the family’s role in prevention and recovery, utilizing modern technologies like artificial intelligence to support diagnosis and care. The goal is to make mental health awareness an integral part of everyday life and to develop a comprehensive community support system that emphasizes prevention and early awareness.
