Omar Neda wins Saudi Arabia's first jujitsu gold at Nagoya 2026
Saudi player Omar Nda achieved the Kingdom's first gold medal in Asian Games history after winning the under 94 kg jujitsu competition at the Nagoya 2026 Games. Nda began his journey with consecutive victories, defeating opponents from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and the United Arab Emirates before winning the final by submission against South Korean Park Sung-ho. This gold medal comes after he previously earned a bronze in the 2023 edition when he was the youngest member of the Saudi delegation, solidifying his athletic development and making history as the first Saudi to win gold in jujitsu at the Asian Games.
