Making Egyptian Cow Feet Stew at Home
Oxtail Tagine with Onions is a traditional Egyptian dish and a popular, flavorful, and deliciously textured comfort food. It is primarily made from well-cooked oxtail, seasoned with onions, garlic, and tomatoes, then baked in the oven until the flavors meld and the sauce thickens. It is usually served with white rice or bread and is characterized by its rich taste and tender texture from the oxtail, along with a distinctive flavor of spices such as cardamom, pepper, and mixed spices. To ensure the success of the recipe, it is recommended to thoroughly clean the oxtail, cook it until tender, and use the broth from boiling to enhance the flavor.
