Al-Hussein Abdulrazek Confirms No Error by Education Spokesperson
The article discusses the importance of maintaining a balance between discipline and respecting students' dignity in schools, in response to the controversy over enforcing appearance regulations, such as wearing flip-flops. The writer explains that having discipline rules is necessary to teach students to respect their environment, and that their implementation should be done wisely and fairly, without tyranny or insult. It is also emphasized that respecting students does not conflict with adhering to school regulations, and that the goal is to create a school environment where everyone—students and teachers—feels respected, with rules applied without excess. The response to the ministry spokesperson's statements should be understood within the context of promoting discipline without insult or discrimination, and avoiding turning appearance issues into a larger societal conflict.
