In response to the rumor that his father, artist Mahmoud Yassin, was neglected before his passing, Amr Mahmoud Yassin posted an old video showing his father a year before his death, to confirm that the rumor was false and that the family did not abandon or neglect Mahmoud Yassin’s care. Amr shared the video coinciding with the sixth anniversary of his father’s passing, explaining that it was considered a final message from the great artist to his fans and admirers. It is worth noting that the rumor circulated in 2019, and Amr stated that the family faced claims alleging that Mahmoud Yassin was in the hospital and that his family abandoned him, but they chose not to respond to such baseless news at the time. Expressing his sorrow, Amr reminisced about his father’s departure, highlighting the immense difficulty he faced after his passing. He reiterated his deep appreciation for his father’s artistic career and his rich legacy in cinema and television, emphasizing his humility and good character despite the great successes he achieved.
