Gouna Film Festival's NextGen Focus
The El Gouna Film Festival focuses on supporting the Arab film industry through the "CineGouna" forum programs, which include five main initiatives aimed at empowering and developing young cinematic talents. This includes support for film production, development of film and documentary projects, as well as a special program for Arab TV series to enhance opportunities for developing and marketing series projects. There are also programs for emerging talent and a cinema market that connects content creators with institutions. The festival aspires to be a platform for the regional and Arab film industries, with an emphasis on supporting the next generation of directors, writers, and artists through funding, mentorship, and interactive events that generate opportunities for collaboration, artistic growth, and economic advancement.
