Black Love faces renewed criticism
At the launch of the series "Black Love" in Damascus, the lead actor, Yamen El Hajjali, faced criticism on social media after previous comments he made criticizing Arab-dubbed works circulated. He had stated that these works do not reflect social reality, tend to exaggerate their stories, and lack artistic challenge. Hajjali clarified that these comments were taken out of context and circulated incompletely. He explained that his stance on translated works depends on the nature of the role and its artistic possibilities, urging people to avoid incitement and promote love.
