The series *Death Ward*, inspired by a real case that rocked Alexandria in 1997, tells the story of Aida, a nurse accused of killing one patient and attempting to kill around 30 others by injecting them with a muscle relaxant. Her death sentence was later reduced to 10 years in prison, and she was released after seven years. Menna Shalaby plays nurse Nadia, with Ali Qassem as her lawyer. Rushdy El-Shamy, Basma, and Ahmed Khaled Saleh also appear as guest stars. The series is written by Mariam Naoum and directed by Karim El-Shennawy. It premieres on Shahid on Thursday, November 26, with two episodes released each week.
