Mohamed Ali Rizq said that Alaa, the character he plays in the series *A Crime in Zamalek*, is a victim of circumstances in the show. In reality, however, he is selfish and wrongs both himself and his sister: he uses her money to buy drugs and refuses to work. Rizq also spoke about the physical and psychological challenges of the warehouse scenes, and revealed that he will appear in *Sultan El-Deeb* during Ramadan 2027 alongside Ahmed El-Awady, whom he described as a friend and brother. He said he was happy that they would be working together again.
